Meet EPA regulations for renovation and repair construction projects involving lead paint
The EPA mandates the use of a HEPA vacuum when doing renovation work on buildings constructed prior to 1978 which may have lead paint in them. Renovation contractors must be certifed by the EPA and use the proper equipment. Dustless HEPA filters meet all government requirements and are certified to IEST-RP-CC001.5 insuring a minimum filtration efficiency of 99.97% at 0.3 micron.

Don’t get thrown off the job
Regular shop vacuums retrofitted HEPA filters are not “certified,” so if an OSHA or EPA inspector shows up on your job site, they can shut you down. The Dustless HEPA vacuum uses a certified HEPA filter.

Maintaining air flow is the key

How Small is a Micron?

• A micron is 1/25,000th of an inch.
• A human hair is about 100 microns.
• The naked eye can not see things
smaller than 10 microns.
• The Micro Pre-filter captures
particles as small as HALF a micron.
• The Dustless HEPA filter captures
particles as small as .3 micron.

The only particles your Dustless HEPA filter has to capture, when used with a Micro Pre-filter, are those between .5 and .3 microns.
