Toolsync™ is the wireless way to integrate the on/off functions of power hand tools with a vacuum used for dust control. Start the tool and the vacuum turns on right away, even if it is across the room, around the corner, or on a different floor. This versatile system can be set it up so one power tool can operated several vacuums, or one vacuum can be activated by a number of tools. There are two models: one for electric tools and one for pneumatic tools.

With ToolSync™, you don’t have to worry about throwing breaker switches. With other systems, when you combine the amp draw of the tool with that of the vacuum, you exceed 15 amps, and blow a fuse. A hand grinder pulls about 13 amps; a vacuum pulls about 11 amps. Together, they will blow a 15 amp fuse every time.

The way ToolSync™ lets you operate higher amp tools without blowing fuses is by enabling you to plug the power tool in one circuit, and the vacuum in another. It’s usually a simple matter of using sockets on opposite sides of the room. The wireless communication provided by ToolSync™ enables both tools to operate in synchronization without the need for an additional cord. Less tangle, less hassle, and the elimination of a trip hazard.

With smaller hand tools, rated between 6-8 amps, ToolSync™ can be used to draw power from a single outlet. ToolSync™ maintains full power to the hand tool while automatically reducing power to the vacuum to prevent blowing a breaker during startup. Shortly after startup, when amp demand from the tool drops, ToolSync™ transfers more amperage to the vacuum.
